Affirmative Proof Texts

The following scriptures are the main ones I would rely upon to prove the "born again before faith" view to be unscriptural. Do they all not teach that regeneration is by faith?

"For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel." (I Corinthians 4: 15 KJV)

"Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures." (James 1: 18 KJV)

"Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." (I Peter 1: 23 KJV)

"For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3: 26 KJV)

"And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith." (Acts 15: 9 KJV)

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." (Ephesians 2: 8 KJV)

"Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference." (Romans 3: 22 KJV)

"To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me." (Acts 26: 18 KJV)

"For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?" (II Corinthians 2: 15, 16 KJV)

"To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins." (Acts 10: 43 KJV)

"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord." (Acts 3: 19 KJV)

Yes, I have said that there are verses that put the "begetting" before faith and repentance, but I have also said that many put begetting after or upon believing, and I have affirmed from this that the bible writers did not follow a strict ordo salutis as regards the relationship of faith to birth.

So, if brother White ever decides he wants to debate this issue, at least with me, he can expect me to use these verses to overthrow his erroneous Hardshell Pedo-Baptist view of "regeneration." The same would be true with all others who share White's neo-Hardshell views.
